This historical, octagonal-shaped tower and is part of the former city waterworks site which is now an ‘eco area’. It’s bang in the middle of the Watertorenplein (Water Tower Square), surrounded by residential houses and has three floors. Industrial style café-restaurant Amsterdam (also once owned by the water company) and the gentrified Westergasfabriek (a former gas factory site with a cinema, cafés and a park) are metres away…
